I have incredible guilt right now.  I feel God is getting me back for all of the wrong I have done, and all of the pain I have caused so many. I truly regret it now!  I also feel I have done some good things in life. God, please don't take it out on Shelby she has so much life to live.   I have a very different perspective on life right now.

The following are the lyrics of a song by Tim Mcgraw.  These are my true fellings!

"Take the very breath you gave me.

Take the heart from my chest.

I’ll gladly take her place

If you'll let me

Make this my last request.

Take me out of this world,

God please-don’t take the girl."

Day 29

December 29, 2004

A normal day for Shelby.  She watched some televison, checked out the website and sent out some emails. She caught up on all of the messages in her guestbok. She made lunch for us.  And helped her mom clean the house.   She went over her dads house at 7 pm and hung out with Dad,Shannon and Justin.

Day 31

New Years Eve 2004

Unfortunately, Shelby had to go back to the hospital for an unexpected visit.  Shelby WBC count is low and she was getting a low grade fever. Fever's are very bad for her at this stage. Bart had to take her to the hospital about 1:00 am  She will probably be there for 3 days.  Not a good way to start the New Year, but Shelby is taking it in stride.   We picked up some Chicken Parm from Carmine's (from Tropicana's The Quarter)and are bringing it up to her so she can have a decent holiday meal. Anything to keep her mind off the hospital stay.

Day 32

January 1, 2005

Shelby spent the New Year in the Hospital.  She was discharged in the afternoon, she spent the night at her dads house.

Day 33

January 2, 2005

Shelby & Justin returned to our house.  It was a tipical Sunday at our house with Football, and the Simpsons.

Shelby will be a teenager 1 month from today!   Watch out Absecon - or make that South Jersey !

Day 34

January 3, 2005

Shelby and Charlene made the trip to the Oncology Clinic for the weekly appointment with Dr. Orsey.  Her check up went well and her counts were in good range.      Shelby had to miss school because of this appointment but plans on going to school tommorow.

Day 35

January 4, 2005

Holidays are over and her counts are normal.  It's time to go back to the mainstream! Shelby eagerly went to school today.  She had to receive "special" permission to wear hats in school and her classrooms.  This attracted much attention, kids were not use to seeing that.
